Bio

Since meeting at the International Workshop in Jazz and Creative Music in Canada, Bram Weijters and Chad McCullough have collaborated around the globe.
Their friendship and musical camaraderie have yielded two critically acclaimed albums (both co-released by Origin Records and De WERF records) with a third in the works. They have performed at festivals in the US, throughout Belgium, and most recently in Russia.
Building on several international collaborations, Seattle trumpeter Chad McCullough and Antwerp-based pianist Bram Weijters document the unique blend of their compositional and performance styles.   McCullough’s warm lyricism has a great counterpart in Weijters’ subtlety and drive
” McCullough’s trumpet and Weijters’ piano have a symbiosis that should be the envy of others”, emusic.com
They are hailed by All About Jazz as “what could be a breakout effort for both players.” The group’s lyrical style, and modern-thinking esthetic continues to evolve. Fresh off of the bandstands in Russia, the US, and Belgium
